We trust the year is off to a great start for you and your business, and you’re squeezing out these last drops of summer with good times aplenty.
Have you heard? There’s big dollar-saving news from IRD for all you start-up business women. A 6.7% discount for each dollar paid of tax during your first year of business is being offered to self-employed people and members of partnerships. It’s a tax incentive which will save you money and take the financial strain off meeting those provisional tax requirements.
Our speaker this month is just the person to explain more about the wonderful world of accounts and discounts:
Julie Lamb has 25 years’ business experience, the last nine in her own accounting business, Julie Lamb and Associates. Her mission in setting up her own business was to meet the need for low cost accounting services for small businesses and organisations.
Julie’s diverse client base includes graphic designers, DJ’s, real estate agents, beauty therapists and pilates instructors. Her passion and compassion for people and her enormous sense of fun means she brings heart and humour to money matters.
Julie will be offering pearls of tax and accountancy advice for whatever stage of business you’re at, and will be happy to answer any curly questions!
