If we had a pair of Gucci strap ons for every time one of you commented “Wow, the timing for this meeting is perfect. I really needed a boost and to be around woman in the same boat, it’s just fantastic!”, we would put Amaldo Marcos out of business!

…so this month for you we have inspiration and motivation from someone who could bottle her own. Nicola Belsham believes having
faith in yourself is THE instrumental factor in running a successful business. Come along to hear her personal advice – its definately worth getting out of bed for!

Nicola Belsham
Illustrator and co-owner of Wineseeker

Nicola has been self employed for the past 14 years, originally starting out as a freelance illustrator, before venturing to Europe and changing her focus to wine.
Returning to New Zealand in 2002, Nicola took up the opportunity of buying a wine business in Bond Street. Hard lessons were learned in this venture – the business eventually closing in early 2004 due to external factors. However, with the combination of those lessons and still with guts and passion intact, Nicola recently re-established herself in a new wine retail store, Wineseeker.
Nicola believes in treating your business like an adventure, and realising that “the storm does not change your love for the sea”.
