FUNRAISER : Thistle Hall calling artists
Well hello there Artists!
Thistle Hall offers a win/win fundraiser - $50 for the artist and $50 towards re-installing the gallery window.
Following the successful $100 art sale format, Thistle Hall recognises that artists are often called upon to donate works of art, so in all fairness we want you to get half - you can also submit as many works as you like!
Last years fundraiser was extremely sucessful helping us raise over $4000 towards the lighting track for the Hall Gallery, which has made a huge improvement to the display of works in the gallery. The Gallery space is always in great demand from emerging and first time artists as well as more experienced and midcareer artists.
Thistle Hall is proud to be able to offer people an accessible and affordable venue for artists to show their work. This year to further improve the exposure of the gallery we would like to re-instate the side window on Arthur St, so that work in the gallery can be seen better. This is the focus of this years fundraiser and community xmas party.
