GUY FAWKES : Recording Project 5-11-06

Hi all this was sent by a friend whos involved in ADA [Aotearoa Digital Arts]

Seeing as it sounds like this will probably be the last time Fireworks will be available to the public to purchase in New Zealand, I want to put together an audio collage of this years celebrations nationwide. (November 5th)

Technical criteria:
- Please send the original recordings with no eq/ limiting post work done!
- 24bit / 48Khz files prefered , but will accept 16bit / 48khz recordings.
- I can transfer from DAT (and will return the tape afterwards)
- No mini disks please! I don't have the equipment to transfer on to my mac.
- Stereo please! (m/s or x/y , either is ok.)
- Surround would be way cool!

Subject matter:
It's up to you. It can be at home with your friends and family , a
public display , the neighbourhood sounds... you get the idea.

Please get in touch and let me know that you are willing to participate , also feel free to send this on to anyone you think may be interested. I'll be posting the final result on my web page late november and will send each contributor a couple of copies of the finished product. If it comes together well I'll look at releasing a short run of cd's.
