PRESENTATION: Performing Space

Magdalena Aotearoa is currently hosting theatre director Jadranka Andjelic and scenographer Antonella Diana, who are based in Belgrade. Both have many years experience in making theatre in Europe, and have collaborated since the mid-90s. This week they have been teaching their week-long workshop "Performing Space" in Wellington. A public presentation of the results of the workshop will be given at 7pm on Friday at Thistle Hall.

The workshop explores the relationship between the performer and the scenographic space. As well as physical and vocal training, the participants are working with light, video, projections and materials.

Everyone is welcome at the presentation, which will be about half-hour long, followed by an open discussion with Jadranka and Antonella. Entry is by koha/donation and there will be tea and coffee.
